Calling notice - charity triathlon Saturday 18th March 2006

All press and reporters are invited to the first transition from foot to boat of local MP Tim Farron's charity triathlon on Saturday 18th March 2006 in aid of North West Cancer Research Fund and New Holehird.

Tim will set off at 10am from near Grisedale Tarn. From here, he will run down to Waterhead, Ambleside, aiming to arrive at approximately 11.30am for the transition to sailing boat.

Any press who wish to meet Tim later in the day on another stage of the triathlon should contact his office for timings. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the timings of the triathlon from the sailing stage onwards as it is dependent on the wind for speed of sailing.
