Local MP Tim Farron sampled some Aviator ale from the Dent Brewery today in the House of Commons 'Strangers' bar. The ale is on tap as a guest ale in the Commons, a rare privilege that not many breweries achieve.

After drinking a pint, Tim commented:

"It is a pleasure to be able to bring Dent Brewery's beer to the Strangers bar in the House of Commons and I will be encouraging my colleagues to sample some Aviator ale.

"I was with representatives from the Kendal fire service today who having presented a petition to Downing Street took the opportunity to taste some Aviator ale themselves.

"I am delighted that Dent Brewery ales are being brought to a wider market, and this is a great opportunity to support a small local business. I hope I will be able to provide other local breweries with similar opportunities in the future."

If you are a resident of the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
