June 24, 2007 3:52 PM

Tim will start his week in the constituency on Monday with a number of meetings to deal with various issues raised by his constituents in recent weeks.

In Westminster, on Tuesday Tim will be attending a meeting of the Environmental Audit Committee where the Committee will be discussing the challenge of climate change with the special government representative to the Gleneagles G8 talks. After this, Tim will attend the Royal British Legion's annual reception; Tim has previously campaigned for more government funding for veterans' services. In the afternoon Tim will be attending Health Questions, and is hoping to question the Secretary of State about cuts at Kendal's Westmorland General Hospital.

On Wednesday Tim will be attending Prime Minister's Question Time with Sir Menzies Campbell. Later on Wednesday Tim will hope to attend the launch of the report of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Epilepsy.

Back in South Lakeland on Thursday, Tim will be visiting Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonsdale. Later, Tim will be in his council ward of Milnthorpe to listen to the views of local residents during a doorstep survey.

On Friday Tim will be at Forest Hall Farm, Selside near Kendal, to launch the Cumbria Hill Farms Charter website. The Hill Farms Charter is designed to champion the cause of hill farms in Cumbria and create a digital record of these invaluable assets to our area.

Later, Tim will be hosting a meeting of his Environment Forum, where he will bring together a number of local people involved in the campaign to fight climate change. In the evening, Tim will be attending the annual Firbank Parish Meeting to listen to the views of local residents.

On Saturday Tim will hold his regular advice surgery at the Victoria Hall, Grange-over-Sands from 10am to 11am. He will then go on to listen to the views of residents in Lindale on a doorstep survey, and in the afternoon will officially open the Abbot Hall Bowling Club in Kendal.

On Sunday Tim will be calling in at two events in the local area with his family. Firstly, he will be visiting the open gardens event at Ewebank in Old Hutton which is raising funds for the Friends of Westmorland Hospital and Bendrigg Lodge. Then he will visit the Summer Charity Fete at the Low Wood Hotel on Lake Windermere which is raising funds for the Eden Valley Hospice and Widows and Orphans of Third World Countries.

If you are a resident of the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
