Later, Tim will be meeting Professor Carr, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cumbria, to talk about the future of the Pentalk scheme which provides IT training for farmers and their families.

On Friday Tim will meet with representatives of Cumbria Primary Care Trust to look at the forthcoming Closer to Home consultation in the south of the county.

Tim will then meet with the local Alzheimer's Society branch, and tour their facilities before going on to officially unveil Arnside Educational Institute's new solar heating panels.

If you are a resident of the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
