Local MP Tim Farron presented Esther Klijn, a pupil at Flookburgh primary school with a book token and a certificate at a school assembly after her Christmas card design was selected from the hundreds of entrants. The card featuring Esther's will now be sent to all 40,000 homes in the constituency.

After presenting Esther with the award, Tim Farron said:

"The quality of the entrants this year was extremely high as usual, and the choice was not an easy one! I know the final design will look brilliant when it drops onto the doormats in a few days time."
