Local MP to present North West Multi Faith Tourism Association Marque to Hawkshead Hill Baptist Chapel

Today at 19.30 local MP Tim Farron will be presenting Hawkshead Hill Baptist Chapel with the NW Multi Faith Tourism Association Marque, following a meeting to discuss faith and politics. The North West Multi Faith Tourism Marque is an award presented to places of worship such as Mosques, Synagogues, Churches and others, in acknowledgement of a high standard of support for visitors, in addition to showcasing their cultural heritage and place in the community.

Commenting, Mr Farron said:

"Hawkshead Hill Baptist Chapel is a beautiful place in a breathtaking setting. It is also a vibrant centre for Christian outreach and is a worthy recipient of this award."
