Local MP Tim Farron has met with local parish councillors to help take forward actions from Dent's Parish Plan. Mr Farron met with leading members of the parish council last Thursday to discuss a number of local issues including the plight of the farming community, second homes, and NHS service issues. The meeting was part of a consultation process that included local farmers and businesses, as the committee investigates a number of potential projects for the Dentdale community. Commenting Mr Farron said: "I am delighted to give my support to the community in Dentdale who are working hard to defend and enhance local facilities". "It's great to be able to work with local people on a project that will address the concerns of residents, and that will provide them with a plan for the future".
