Local MP talks faith and politics over breakfast

Local MP Tim Farron is to attend a breakfast in Milnthorpe this Friday hosted by Bishop James of Penrith.

The breakfast is part of a series of events held across South Westmorland this week as part of the Kendal Deanery Mission.

As part of the week entitled 'Out of the Blue', Tim will be speaking about his faith and how it relates to his position as Member of Parliament, as well as sharing his testimony.

Commenting on the week, Tim said: "The Deanery Mission offers the opportunity for churches to bring the gospel to those who may not normally hear it. I am delighted to play a small part in the week's events."
