MP's annual village tour hits the road

August 8, 2006 11:43 AM

Local MP Tim Farron is once again hitting the road in a camper van for his annual village tour. Tim will be visiting 48 different communities over a fortnight beginning on Monday 14 August.

Speaking before he set off on his tour, Tim said:

"It's very important that I am as accessible to local residents as possible. My summer tour is an ideal opportunity to get round the smaller villages which I don't normally get the chance to visit with my more formal advice surgeries."

Everyone is welcome to come and see Tim with any issues they have, or to just have a chat and meet their MP.

Tim continued:

"I look forward to seeing many people on the tour, and listening to their concerns."
