Tim has joined with the Government and industry to jointly urge businesses to apply for a share of £300 million from the Regional Growth Fund before the deadline at midday on Monday, 9 December 2013.

Round 5 of the Regional Growth Fund builds on the success of the first 4 rounds of the £3.2 billion fund. So far over 400 quality projects and programmes are being supported across the country which will create thousands of jobs.

To make a programme bid you will need to complete the 2-part Regional Growth Fund Programme Application Form. The form can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/regional-growth-fund-programme-application-form. You need to complete and send both parts of the correct application form and supporting evidence to: rgfround5applications@bis.gsi.gov.uk

Tim said: "The Regional Growth Fund could help unlock government funding to safeguard jobs or help a business expand. If you think you could bid I am saying - please do!

"The Regional Growth Fund is an important part of our campaign to bring well more paid jobs and investment to South Lakeland. Over 1000 jobs have been created or safeguarded thanks to the funding we have received. I hope that lots of businesses will look at bidding in round five so we can build on our successes."
