Tim at a football surgeryLocal MP Tim Farron will be holding his 'football surgeries' at kick-about areas throughout Kendal next Wednesday (April 4th).

Previous football surgeries have been a real success, with hundreds of young people joining Tim on the Hallgarth, Kirkbarrow and Sandylands estates to play football and talk to Tim about the issues that matter to them.

Tim will play five-a-side football on the multi-use games areas, before sitting down to discuss issues of concern.

This year Tim will be holding his surgeries as follows:

Hallgarth MUGA: 11:00am - 12:00pm

Sandylands MUGA: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Kirkbarrow MUGA: 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Tim said: "Doing three of these in a day will be a test of my fitness - but I really enjoy doing them.

"The whole point is to give young people the chance to come and talk to me about whatever issues they want to raise.

"I always want to be the MP for all our community, not just the ones who are old enough to vote!"
