July 4, 2018 12:19 PM

Lakes Line Q&A session in WindermereLocal MP Tim Farron will hold a special drop-in session in Windermere this Friday to answer any questions people may have about the latest situation on the Lakes Line.

The event will take place at Windermere's Tourist Information Centre from 10.30am to 11.30am

Tim said: "These past few months on our railways have caused huge distress to both residents, local businesses and visitors.

"Small businesses in the area that rely on people visiting our part of the world have seen a drop in numbers and a lot of visitors have left not wanting to return following abysmal experiences with the train service.

"Every day I get lots of letters and emails with people who've got real concerns about the situation on the Lakes Line.

"Whether you have concerns over compensation or the future of the line itself, I'd love to see you at the Tourist Information Centre this Friday."
