Tim played games of five-a-side football on the multi-use games areas at Hallgarth, Sandylands and Kirkbarrow with local youngsters, before sitting down to discuss the issues that matter to them.

Speaking afterwards, Tim said: "The football surgeries are a great opportunity to hear the issues that are on the mind of young people in our area.

"These ranged from problems with litter to the need for nets for their goalposts and I look forward to taking up as many of their suggestions as possible.

"However, after playing football non-stop for four hours with dozens of energetic young people, I am now going to have a sit down!'
